Position Type Hourly Position Starting At: $13.27 Responsibilities Ensures all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact with customers. Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout. Oversees daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service. Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure items are placed quickly on the sales floor. Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues. Manages the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operation. Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Drives store sales and controls expenses by actively seeking ways to boost sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Partners with store leadership team in merchandising procedures and world recovery. Performs store maintenance such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining stock room. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Creative thinker. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Frequently operate cash register. Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet. Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and sales floor. Frequently communicate with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, and with managers and coworkers. Must accurately exchange information in these situations. Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and to/from the stock room. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and occasional travel. Must identify and interpret email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures. Must remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
