Clinical Care Technician Location: 99 HIGHWAY 37 WEST, TOMS RIVER, NJ 08755 Facility: Community Medical Center Department: Orthopedics Unit Employment Type: Part-Time, Hourly Shift: Day Pay Range: $21.04 - $26.19 per hour Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. See a short video of a typical day in the life of a Clinical Care Technician: Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. BLS certification (American Heart Association). Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program. Certified nursing assistant certification. Scheduling Requirements Day shift, 24 hours per week, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Essential Functions The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG administration. Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service. Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions. Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care. Participating in collaboration of patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
