Pay Range: $493,267.00 - $972,300.00

Job Opportunity

We are currently looking for a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our Gastroenterology Specialists team as a GI hospitalist. The ideal candidate will be well-trained, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to the growth of our GI program. A commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment is essential.

Opportunity Highlights

• You will collaborate with two other physicians already on the GI hospitalist team.
• The work schedule consists of one week on duty, with 24/7 on-call responsibilities at one of our two campuses, followed by one week off.
• During your on-call weeks, the remaining call shifts will be covered by our employed Gastroenterologists, all of whom maintain successful outpatient practices.
• There will be opportunities to conduct outpatient open access colonoscopies during your on-call week.
• Our program is affiliated with internal medicine and family medicine residency programs, and you will have a resident working alongside you during part of your call.
• An NP rotates between the two campuses to assist the on-call GI hospitalist.
• We have a dedicated advanced therapeutic Gastroenterologist available for EUS/ERCP procedures.
• An advanced interventional radiology team is on hand for emergency embolizations and TIPS as necessary.
• A full-time staff of nurses and GI technicians is available 24/7 for off-hour procedures.
• All procedures are performed with the support of an Anesthesiologist or Nurse Anesthetist in our state-of-the-art, ASGE-certified GI suite.

Qualifications

• MD/DO Degree
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active NJ/PA License
