Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time

Minimum Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Completion of the clinical fellowship year (CFY) is preferred. Candidates who have not completed CFY must be willing to work under the supervision of a CCC holder.
• Active Alabama state license to practice speech-language pathology.
• Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and communication disorders in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Preferable knowledge and experience with video fluoroscopic swallow studies and dysphagia therapy.
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to understand physician orders and communicate with medical staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination is preferred; exemptions will be considered.
