Details Level I Trauma ICU setting with 14 rooms and 16 beds Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00) Patient ratio of 1:2 Uses Epic charting system Float required to ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; PALS and TNCC preferred 2 years of experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred Epic charting experience required Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Skilled in respiratory/thoracic care including BiPAP/CPAP management and ventilator management Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care/management Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to trauma ICU patients in a Level I Trauma setting Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted Candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties will not be considered Former staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, and none is permitted during the first week of orientation Travel pairs or groups are not accepted These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
