This is an excellent opportunity for an RT who is comfortable caring for patients across multiple hospital settings and thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. Position: Travel Respiratory Therapist Hours: 36 Hours/Week Employment Type: Travel Contract Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide specialized respiratory care to patients ranging from routine respiratory needs to critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions. Your responsibilities may include: Assessing patients' respiratory status and developing appropriate treatment plans Providing respiratory treatments and therapies Managing oxygen delivery systems and respiratory equipment Responding to emergency and rapid-response situations Providing respiratory care to ICU patients Supporting patients on general medical/surgical floors Providing respiratory care in the Emergency Department Assisting with airway management and emergency procedures Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in respiratory status Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Educating patients and families regarding respiratory treatments Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Following infection-control, safety, and hospital protocols What We're Looking For We need a well-rounded Respiratory Therapist with strong hospital experience and the ability to confidently provide respiratory care across a variety of departments.
