Job Title: Robot OperatorReports to: Robot Operator SupervisorJob Type: Hourly, Non-ExemptSUMMARY: Loads and unloads parts in jigs for production robots.REQUIRED COMPETENCIESLoads and unloads parts in jigs for production robots.Helps setup jigs for job changes.Uses start boxes to generate program start/stopVisually inspects parts per sample and per Supervisor.Follows Supervisor directions.Performs general daily maintenance on equipment.Operates forklifts.Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.Follow company safety & security guidelinesAttendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.Other duties as needed.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability requiredDESIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEPrevious experienceOn the job training to be provided, as needed, for all assigned responsibilities.PHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee may be required to do the following: climbing into and out of equipment; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands, fingers and feet to operate tools and equipment; lifting up to 40 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction. The employee is frequently required to sit while performing the duties of this job (approx. 20%) walk (70%) stand (10%) sit.
