Tech Lead - Software Engineer

Job Title: Developer Platform/Product Location: San Jose, CA Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in Hibernate and JPA to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, focusing on building robust and scalable platform solutions. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our product offerings, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high quality software solutions using Hibernate and JPA.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Strong expertise in Hibernate and JPA.
- Proficient in Java programming language.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of front end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
