Job Title: Intern, Systems Engineer Job Code: 42986 Job Location: Greenville, TX Job Schedule:9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description: The Systems Engineer Summer Intern will support the planning, analysis, design, testing, and evaluation of complex systems and system architectures. This role offers hands-on experience working with engineering teams to develop operational concepts, test strategies, implementation plans, and technical presentations. The intern will gain exposure to the full systems engineering lifecycle while contributing to technical problem-solving and customer-focused engineering efforts. Essential Functions: Perform operational analysis and developconcept of operations,designand implementation plans Develop test plans, procedures&cases Conduct tests and document results Use software tools,scriptingand software/hardware troubleshooting Analyze systems requirements from end systemsand users Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers Qualifications: To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field at an accredited university.
