Job Description:


- Shift: Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Start: ASAP
- Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse
- Required Certifications/Licenses:
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification from AHA
- ACLS Certification from AHA
- PALS Certification from AHA
- TNCC Certification
- CPI/De-Escalation highly preferred

- Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to establish patient priorities.
- Systematically re-assess patients to identify trends and required interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans.
- Make informed nursing decisions based on comprehensive evaluations of patient outcomes.
- Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and families.
- Perform various Point of Care testing procedures as needed.


- Education & Skills Required:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills relevant to patient populations served
- Strong awareness of patient rights during care delivery
- Effective communication skills tailored to the developmental age of patients


- Experience:
- All newly hired nurses with two or fewer years of experience will start at a CNI status.
- Higher clinical ladder consideration based on relevant experience, certifications, and additional nursing education (B.S.N. and MSN).
