Job Title and Compensation Sales Manager - Designer RTW Salary Range: $78,007 - $97,509* Overview Neiman Marcus is a leading luxury retailer delivering exceptional customer experiences across its 36 stores, digital channels, and remote selling. The Sales Manager will lead a department(s) to drive sales and create a customer‑oriented experience while upholding brand excellence. Responsibilities Move toward maximum sales and growth following company vision and values in partnership with other functional leads for the department. Oversee all aspects of merchandise and communications with merchant and vendor partners, handling presentation, returns, and damages. Manage team execution, anticipating and adjusting for risks and roadblocks to maintain departmental performance. Contribute to strategic goals for the store and set departmental priorities with relevant buyers, producing positive results. Develop plans and strategies in partnership with Client Development Leads to understand and respond to internal and external customer behaviors, trends, and preferences. Plan and complete departmental budgets, ensuring guidelines are followed to minimize operating expenses and maximize revenue. Support audit compliance to enforce department and stockroom controls, as applicable. Manage people, product placement, and sales promotion within the department. Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in luxury retail fashion. Track record of achieving results and building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams. Proficiency working for a “Win together” culture. Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 10 pounds; willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
