Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Active certification or registry as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR or equivalent)
• Minimum of one year experience in MRI imaging, demonstrating proficiency in both clinical workflow and patient care
• Current BLS certification
• Skilled in operating MRI scanners and related imaging equipment
• Outstanding attention to detail with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient safety protocols and accurate recordkeeping

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality MRI scans as ordered by radiologists, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Prepare imaging equipment and rooms, performing routine quality assurance checks to maintain optimal performance
• Obtain and assess patient histories, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions
• Monitor patients during scans for safety, providing immediate response if needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results
• Adhere to facility guidelines regarding infection control, HIPAA, and radiological safety standards
• Maintain organized records and contribute to efficient department workflow
