About this Role

The Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives at Blue Meridian Partners, reports to the Founder and Executive Chair and is tasked with leading innovation and strategy projects aimed at enhancing the philanthropy landscape. This senior role is not embedded in Blue Meridian’s day-to-day operations but involves direct collaboration with the Executive Chair to design and advance strategic initiatives. These projects include creating innovative models for philanthropic capital aggregation and deployment and enhancing impact through technology and AI. The successful candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating independence, sound judgment, and the ability to transform visions into reality. They will mobilize cross-functional efforts and align stakeholders on diverse projects, supporting the organization’s board governance and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Founder and Executive Chair on high-priority capital aggregation and deployment projects.
• Translate early-stage initiatives into actionable frameworks and execution roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams to ensure alignment, accountability, and momentum.
• Develop materials for strategic discussions, including memos and presentations.
• Explore technology and AI to strengthen philanthropic collaboration and impact.
• Serve as a central organizing force for a fast-moving project portfolio.
• Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Build systems to maintain project coordination and clarity.
• Act as a liaison to internal and external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in strategy, philanthropy, consulting, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to translate vision into executable strategies.
• Experience managing complex projects independently.
