Opportunity:


RN - ICU


Job Details:


• Variable day and night shifts available
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week, except during holidays when unit is closed
• Float to other units as needed, including possible float to Medical/Surgical unit
• Facility float to Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations - floating can and will be prescheduled
• Can be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 10-bed unit covering ICU and IMC; Medical/Surgical unit has 34 beds
• Patient ratios: 1:2 in ICU; 1:3-1:4 for IMC; 1:5-1:6 for Medical/Surgical
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; one travel assignment preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

This medical center operates a comprehensive intensive care unit combining ICU and intermediate care capabilities within a 10-bed unit, supported by a 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit. The facility is part of a larger health system with multiple regional locations, allowing for collaborative care across several campuses. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and supports staff with access to modern charting systems and cross-trained floating opportunities.
