We are dedicated to being the leader in the application and design of innovative services, fostering new partnerships in the community, promoting excellence in the delivery of care for residents and staff, by anticipating and embracing the ever changing needs of the community we serve.\n\n Registered Nurse, RN utilizes the nursing process in the care of designated Residents, administers medications & treatments to residents, & documents appropriately on assigned nursing unit\n Registered Nurse, RN reports findings of ongoing observations/assessments to the designated Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, &/or Unit Manager\n Registered Nurse, RN demonstrates knowledge of basic test/lab collection values, deliver direct resident care consistent with the policies/procedures & Resident Bill of Rights, in combination with demonstrated clinical skills/knowledge\n Registered Nurse, RN will identify/respond timely to patient concerns/needs\n Registered Nurse, RN will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills necessary to ensure appropriate quality patient care\n Prepare resident assignments considering the category of needs of the patient & competency of personnel, monitor/evaluate the flow of activity & delivery of patient care provided (positioning, bathing, etc.) & assure documentation records (ADLs, meal intake, etc.) are completed for CNAs\n Is punctual and/or provides proper notification for lateness or absenteeism\n Requirements: \n\n Graduate of an approved school of nursing\n Licensed & registered in good standing in New York State as an RN\n Experience with geriatric patients is desirable, but not required\n Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, & disabled\n Possess a spirit of cooperation & enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & growth\n Knowledge of medical, social, & psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory & practice, & infection prevention principles/methods\n Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, families, & staff\n Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, celebrate diversity, & are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all!
