This contract role focuses primarily on a Pre-K caseload, offering the unique opportunity to work hands-on with children in the earliest stages of their academic journey. As an itinerant therapist, you’ll travel between multiple school sites, collaborating with educators and families to help 33 students achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in school settings, especially with Pre-K populations, is highly valued
• Strong understanding of pediatric and educational occupational therapy practices
• Comfort with itinerant work, traveling to various school sites as needed
• Effective communication skills for working closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Ability to work on-site (no teletherapy/VOCO for this position)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 33 students, focusing on Pre-K needs
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized goals and interventions
• Work 1-2 days per week across multiple schools to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate documentation per school and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate regularly with special education teams, classroom teachers, and parents
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure student success
