Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (Days and PMs) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Emergency Department, with potential overflow into clinical exam rooms
• Manage patient assignments based on acuity, with ratios up to 1:5
• Work a rotating mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts across days and PMs; shift times include 0700–1500, 0700–1900, 1500–2300, and 1100–2300, with rare night shifts
• Participate in every other weekend rotation (often every third) and every other holiday
• Float as needed to affiliated facilities in the region
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season for unvaccinated staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only accepted)
• AHA or ARC ACLS certification required
• AHA or ARC PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment
• Experience floating to multiple facilities or care settings
