Branch Operations Manager Core Responsibilities Oversee daily branch execution and operations, ensuring timely and high quality service delivery, and a safe workplace via training and policy adherence. Prepare composite reports from subordinate reports and translate district-level goals into daily priorities. Supervise technician teams, handle local issue resolution, and lead daily huddles to surface field-level issues and reinforce coaching. Manage and lead branch staff: hiring, training, performance evaluations, development, salary recommendations, and disciplinary actions. Conduct new hire and ongoing training for service personnel covering customer service, technical skills, safety policies and procedures. Serve as the face of the branch, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and addressing inquiries and issues. Ensure branch-level processes enable positive customer relationships and that employees interact with customers appropriately. Coach and develop lawn specialists and trainees, and work with other managers to reduce customer cancellations. Set customer expectations for the team and assist in preparing required materials and presentations. Ensure adherence to company policies and federal, state, local regulations, including proper licensing of production staff. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics for the branch. Analyze operational data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and optimize branch performance. Foster a positive branch culture, promote employee engagement, and drive team success, positively impacting associate engagement initiatives. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability. Competencies Leadership and Management – strong skills to motivate and guide a team. Education & Experience Associate’s degree in a business-related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn/horticulture/agronomy/lawn-care services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of supervisory management experience, a valid permanent driver’s license, and a minimum age of 21 on the date of hire. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range; upper end reserved for extensive experience.
