Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Collaborate with the Dietary Department to meet specific nutritional needs of clients. Utilize kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Help train and mentor Dietary Aides or junior kitchen staff as needed.
