This program offers acute psychiatric and behavioral stabilization in an inpatient mental health setting. Given the short length of stay expected for clients in the program, the work environment is immersive and fast-paced.

• Monday-Friday 1p-9:30p with two weekend days per month required

• $2 shift differential for hours worked from 3pm to 7am

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

Fulton State Hospital is looking for Support Care Professionals with training and/or experience working with individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental illness. The Support Care Professional will function as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. They will work closely with the treatment team to observe client behavior and implement behavior support plans to enhance adaptive behaviors, diminish challenging behaviors, and assist with transition to less restrictive settings. They will play an active role in treatment including providing case management and group therapies to clients and coaching to direct care staff. They will participate in treatment team meetings to develop, review, and update treatment plans while evaluating progress toward return to the community.

Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree OR four or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training and/or experience treating individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and serious mental illness

Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
