Job Type: Full-Time - NOC Shift
Location: Colton, CA

The Canyons Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our healthcare team. The RT will provide respiratory care, monitor residents' breathing and oxygen needs, and help improve their respiratory health and overall well-being.

• Assess residents' respiratory conditions and monitor their breathing.

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.

• Monitor oxygen levels and respiratory equipment.

• Assist with ventilator management and other respiratory support, as applicable.

• Recognize and report changes in residents' respiratory conditions.

• Document treatments, assessments, and resident responses accurately.

• Educate residents and families on respiratory care when appropriate.

• Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

• Maintain respiratory equipment and follow infection control procedures.

• Follow facility policies and applicable safety standards.

• Current and appropriate California respiratory care license or credential.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Experience providing respiratory care in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.

• Knowledge of respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and respiratory equipment.

• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
