Job Description
Exciting Nursing Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description:


- Cover maternity leave and orientations for a dynamic ICU team
- Located in the heart of Nebraska, offering top-level healthcare in a community-focused environment
- Join a dedicated staff of over 900 employees and support from more than 260 volunteers
- Work in a 9 bed ICU unit, with potential to extend to 12 beds
- Care for a diverse patient population, including:
- Patients on ventilators
- Post-surgical complications
- Cath Lab patients (impella and balloon pumps)
- Hypo-oxygenated patients
- Patients on various drips
- Pediatric patient care for those under 12 years old
- Maintain a 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Experience the benefits of a great team culture and up-to-date equipment

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
- Experience in a community or rural hospital setting preferred
- Active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or a Compact State
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Team-oriented mindset, coachable, and willing to ask questions
- Must wear scrubs of any color; scrubs must not display names of other healthcare facilities

Additional Requirements:


- Complete MOAB training if not already certified (cost covered)
- Ability to adapt to flexible working hours
