Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Our organization in San Antonio is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This role involves providing safe and compassionate perioperative care in a dynamic surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and, when necessary, scrub for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain accurate documentation throughout the surgical process.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technicians.
• Support education for patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
