Patient Access Technician, Per Diem Day Shift, Outpatient Rehabilitation Fort Washington, Maryland, United States Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Patient Access Technician for our outpatient Rehabilitation department, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Therapy Aide/Patient Access Technician, you will: Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands‑on care as directed and instructed Maintain the department's cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed Have additional duties as assigned Qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Associate degree in a health-related field 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare preferred Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Work Schedule: Typical Daily Schedule: Commitment is a minimum of 2 shifts a month Shift Type: Day Holiday Requirements: Required Compensation: This position is per diem at a rate of $20/hour Pay Range: If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
