Experienced Service Technician

Join to apply for the Experienced Service Technician role at Champion Chevrolet GMC . Base Pay Range $85,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr. Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Qualifications Must have at least 2+ years of experience as an auto technician. Ability to pass a drug test. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information. Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance. Quick learner with excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills and a team player attitude. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to identify problems quickly. Knowledge of automobiles, math, reading, and computer skills.
