Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds - 58

· Number of Staff – 49-65

· Type of staff: Physicians, Surgeons, Neurologists, clinical coordinators, Directors, Charge RN, RN’s

o Day Shift – Director, Charge RN, Clinical Coordinator, multiple RN’s, LPN’s and CNA’s

o Night Shift - Director, Charge RN, Clinical Coordinator, multiple RN’s, LPN’s and CNA’s

· Patient Ratios – 1:1, 2:1 3:1 & 4:1 depending on acuity, will be asked to float to like Unit’s

· Type of equipment – ECG, blood pressure monitor, respiratory rate monitor, dialysis machines

· EMR – Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· BLS, ACLS, NIHS

· 2 years Level 111 Trauma Center Telemetry/PCU experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Stoke screening experience, requires 8 hours of stroke education

Willing to float, high acuity patients, patient care experience is a HUGE focus

· List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Assesses, plans and evaluates the nursing care needs of the patient in the immediate post-operative or post-procedural period, carries out physician orders, manages patient’s pain, administers prescribed medications and monitors vital signs

· Monitors, records and communicates patient condition utilizing computerized documentation systems
