About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ACLS BLS Description: On-call during the week and every other weekend. The unit has 13 beds and is staffed by 30 personnel, including RNs and cardiovascular technologists. Day shift operates from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed. Night shift is on-call. Patient ratios are 1:3. Equipment includes Phillips and GE systems. Documentation is managed through Meditech and Mac Lab. Call requirements include after hours, weekends, and major holidays. Typical procedures performed include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology. Candidates should have previous cath lab experience, be flexible, and function independently. Dress code consists of scrubs provided by the institution.
