Lead Python Engineer

Lead Python Developer
Duration: Contract to Hire
Location: 100% Remote
High-Level Individual Duties:
- Research and identify the best AI/ML tool to implement
- Navigate the growth of the teams and application. Will work on the design and architecture of any solutions that are selected
- 40-50% hands on development – will need to step in and be in the weeds on the development to ensure deadlines on deliverables are met
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
- Previous lead experience
- Python – need to have a strong background in software development
- AI/ML experience – don’t need to be a SME, but need to have an understanding
- Cloud experience – open to any cloud platform, prefer GCP
- Kubernetes or a similar tool
- Git or a similar tool
Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
- Java – the more languages they know the better. Java is a huge plus since they may rewrite the application
