Manufacturing Engineer

Job Duties

Support various manufacturing operations through implementation of tooling equipment and processes

Assist design engineers, coaches and technical staff in establishing equipment or tooling needs for new products, cost justification and implementation

Train all level of employees as needed on new equipment, tools and techniques

Participate in technical meetings

Self started abilities to work with minimal 2

Ability to develop safe applications; safe use of industrial chemicals; appropriate documentation

Excellent communication skills for working with management, vendors, customers and production staff

Advanced math for accurate calculations

This position is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or the EAR (Export Administration Regulations). Candidates must qualify as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) according to the U.S. Federal law.

Minimum Education Required

Four year degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum Experience Required

Three years experience in manufacturing engineering capacity is strongly preferred

Education and/or experience in CAD and 3D printing

Use of ergonomic, Lean and Continuous Improvement tools including Kaizen, Taguchi, Theory of Constraints, 5S for production process and quality improvements; reduce scrap and improve production efficiencies.
