About the Position

Our client in New Mexico is actively seeking a skilled Vascular Surgeon for a 60-day assignment. This role involves a likely 7-on/7-off schedule with 24-hour call, focusing on crucial duties such as vascular surgery, aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, and vascular access device procedures. The selected Physician will manage 3-5 patients per shift, performing procedures including thoracic and abdominal aneurysm repairs, peripheral arterial bypass, and AV shunt placements.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform vascular surgery procedures
• Conduct aneurysm repairs, including thoracic and abdominal
• Execute arterial bypass procedures, including peripheral
• Manage vascular access devices, including AV shunt placements

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Vascular Surgery
• EMR: Medhost
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call: Out of House Call, 24-hour call from 8a-8a
• Patients per day: 3-5 patients per shift
• LOA: 60 Days
