Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Schedule This is a night shift position with options for either 4x12-hour shifts (1900-0730) with no call or 3x12-hour shifts (1900-0730) with a call requirement of at least one 12-hour call shift bi-weekly. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to neonates within the NICU, administering various treatments and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support critically ill infants. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and supporting families during their child's treatment. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates 22 weeks gestation and greater, including those with various medical conditions. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. Utilize specialized equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and monitoring devices. Offer support and education to families regarding their infants' care and progress. Float to other NICU units or facilities as necessary based on patient census needs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Valid South Carolina Nursing License (SC RN license). Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE. At least 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system is required.
