Accounting Clerk & CRM Specialist - Part Time

Position Information Title: Accounting Clerk – CRM Specialist Effective Date: 7/1/2026 Employment Type: Part‑Time Exemption Status: Non‑Exempt Program: Accounting Reports to: Accounting Manager Position Objective The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the financial operations of Catholic Charities by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting. This role ensures compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and contributes to the organization’s mission by providing reliable financial data for decision‑making. Compensation $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience). Hybrid remote position for 19–24 hours per week (maximum). This position is not eligible for benefits. Essential Duties Cash Receipts: Deposit cash receipts into appropriate bank accounts. Code and record deposits in the accounting system. Retrieve and record daily lockbox and wire information from the banking website. Assist Senior Accountant with additional cash receipt responsibilities. CRM Specialist: Enter donations (cash receipts, soft pledges, in‑kind) into CRM and ensure balance with Intacct. Work with Development to avoid duplicate records. Integrate CRM and Intacct database systems. Track pledges and monthly gifts to ensure timely payment. Communicate with Accounting and Development on deposit accuracy regarding restrictions and appeals. Oversee year‑end gift acknowledgment letters and CRM recording for Development team distribution. Analyze data for reporting and research toward CRM purging. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. Three (3) years of accounting experience required; five (5) years preferred. Non‑profit accounting experience preferred. Skills & Competencies Team player, willing to take on new tasks as growth opportunities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. High attention to detail.
