Duration: 6 months (potential to extend) About the Role We are seeking a Supplier Enablement & Ariba Operations Specialist to support Operational Accounting and Supply Chain functions. This role focuses on supplier onboarding, system integrity, and process optimization across Ariba and PeopleSoft platforms. You will work independently to resolve operational issues, improve workflows, and ensure efficient, compliant procurement processes. Responsibilities
- Manage supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to key initiatives (e.g., Early Pay Discount, Virtual Card programs).
- Monitor and resolve supplier data discrepancies between Ariba and PeopleSoft systems.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to troubleshoot system and process issues.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve escalations from business partners and suppliers, including complex cases.
- Identify process gaps, assess risks, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Document procedures and contribute to training materials to support team performance.
- Participate in system testing (UAT), including developing test scripts and validating enhancements.
- Report system defects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform system cleanup activities to maintain accurate supplier records (e.g., inactive locations, compliance data updates).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful supplier onboarding and transaction readiness.
- Contribute to migration efforts from PeopleSoft eProcurement to Ariba.
- 2+ years of experience in Operational Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
(or equivalent combination of work experience, training, military service, or education) - Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Ariba, or similar platforms)
- Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve operational issues
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with supplier onboarding and enablement processes
- Familiarity with procurement and invoicing systems (Ariba Buying & Invoicing)
- Experience with system testing (UAT) and process documentation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency
- Work Style: Independent, self-starter role with high ownership
