This includes the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and systems, as well as monitoring and improving the overall performance of the organization.Duties and Responsibilities:Design and implement quality assurance systems and processesDevelop and maintain quality standards in accordance with regulatory and industry requirementsMonitor and review product designs to ensure compliance with quality standardsEnsure that appropriate quality testing is conducted and that test results are accurately documentedConduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management systemInvestigate customer complaints and recommend corrective actionAnalyze quality data to identify trends and recommend improvementsDevelop and provide training on quality assurance processes and techniquesStay up to date with industry standards and regulationsOversee the development and implementation of quality management systems, processes and procedures to ensure that these requirements are metProvide guidance to other departments on customer and QMSWorking Conditions:Primarily working indoors, office environmentMay sit for several hours at a timeProlonged exposure to computer screensRepetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality managementEssential Functions:Design and implement robust processes, procedures, and controls to ensure product and service quality meet or exceed customer expectations.Collect, analyze, and report on quality data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making.Conduct root cause analysis to identify the sources of quality issues and implement preventive and corrective actions to address them.Identify potential risks to product and service quality and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to ensure the effective implementation of quality management initiatives.Provide leadership and direction to the quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Competencies:Strong communication skills, both verbally and writtenTeam player mentalityAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeAttention to detailSupervisory Responsibility:This position could have the following positions reporting to it: Quality Specialist, Quality Engineer, Quality Analyst, Quality Coordinator, Quality Technician, Quality InspectorPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear.This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.Travel:Travel will be moderate and would be primarily local during the business day.Preferred Education and Experience:CQE, CQM, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification Management/Leadership experience.Additional Eligibility Qualifications: N/AAAP/EEO Statement:Lippert provides equal employment opportunity to all team members and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, age, genetic information, disability, citizen status, protected veteran status, military service, marital status or any other legally protected category as established by federal, state, or local law.
