Senior Associate - AI Enablement Engineer

Overview We are looking for a senior associate AI Enablement Engineer within State Street’s Global Technology Services (GTS) organization. Our technology function enables the delivery of data and insights to clients and supports the company’s digital transformation by leveraging industry best practices and advanced technologies. The role requires collaboration, integrity, creativity, and a commitment to personal growth. What You Will Do In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities: Python Fundamentals: Strong grasp of Python, including OOP, decorators, and async programming. Ability to build REST APIs and CLI tools. GenAI & RAG Basics: Understanding of prompting, embeddings, vector search, and evaluation techniques. Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks. Data Handling: SQL and Spark basics, with awareness of data quality, lineage, and governance. Software Engineering Practices: Git, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker). Cloud Awareness: Basic familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, S3, and SageMaker. Agentic AI Concepts: Interest in autonomous workflows, agent memory, and decision quality tracking. Problem Solving: Ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks and communicate findings clearly. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
