Largest Project In Dept Of CorrectionsProject: Largest project in dept of corrections. 19 legacy apps and consolidating them into one COTS app. Team is made up BA, Devs, Architects, DBA’s, etc. Working hand in hand with the vendor and the business to do reverse engineering and integrations in order to migrate data. Project is going on for the next 3 years. Just starting to get into the heavy lift.Responsibilities:SSRS and PowerBI DevelopmentDeveloping dashboardsInteract with BA’s on regular basisOne person that does this role, and needs someone else to help out in developing dashboardsShow what data came from whereA lot of data migration and reverse engineering from legacy appsMust Have:PowerBISSRSCommunication/team fit – Collaborative, curious, team playerInterview Process:1 panel style interview (60 minutes)Remote? No, hybrid model (onsite 2 days per week)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT disciplineSSRS/Power BI Developer Current ExperienceWork in a hybrid office and/or home environment.Willingness to learnRequired SkillsJob Function - Description - Years of ExperienceSSRS and Power BI Report Development - Schedule report delivery utilizing data driven subscriptions, etc. in SSRS/Power BI.Create reports, dashboards, and charts using SSRS/Power BI to support data migration support, data quality analysis, and data migration analytics.Create SSRS/Power BI reports using report, drop-down, multi-valued parameters and debugging parameter issues in matrix reports and charts.Experience in creating multiple SSRS/Power BI reports in drill mode using tables, cross tabs and charts.Design and generate reports with different layouts using SSRS/Power BI and export them into Excel and/or PDF.Work closely with team members to solve business problems using SSRS/Power BI reports.Create report layouts using global expressions, functions, subtotals, sorting the data using SSRS/Power BI.Create cross-tab, drill-down, drill-through, linked reports and sub-reports with SSRS/Power BI.Optimized SQL Server stored procedures and long running queries using query-optimization techniques.Ensure that all development projects adhere to strict development guidelines including testing, acceptance and rollout by implementing change management controls. - 10.NET Development - Experience with all areas of.NET development including server-side, client-side, data retrieval, and management.Minimum three years of development using .NET (C# and SQL), - 3Communication Skills - Experience communicating within a project team working with a Business Analyst to understand and developer the required reports. - 10Source Control - Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT. - 5Unit Testing - Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes. - 10Documentation - Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams. - 10Testing - Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios. - 5Production Support - Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis. - 5Change Management - Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes. - 5Other Skills - Desired Experience:Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL, Unix shell scripting, stored procedures, and database functions. - 7
