Are you an Engineer in Training (EIT) with structural design experience? Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their growing team, working on residential and light commercial projects from concept through construction.
What You'll Do
• Design residential and light commercial structural projects from concept through final construction documents.
• Prepare structural calculations and details for commercial projects.
• Create and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist with RFIs, submittal reviews, design reviews, and job site support.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Perform quality assurance reviews and support project delivery.
What You Bring
• EIT designation with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing wood and masonry structures, framing systems, and foundations.
• Intermediate to advanced AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Florida Building Code and International Building Code.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
