Description: The position requires a licensed occupational therapist. The role involves providing therapy to geriatric and adult patients with various diagnoses. The therapist will float between different departments as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. The work environment consists of a 13-bed unit for rehabilitation and a 24-bed medical-surgical unit. No weekend call requirements exist, but a minimum of one weekend shift per month is expected. The facility uses an electronic health record system for documentation. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in their work. Dress code allows for any color scrubs, while pajamas and torn clothing are not acceptable.
