Hourly Rate: $1.00 (speculative; actual compensation to be discussed) Sign-on bonus: Available Relocation assistance: Provided Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision insurance Life and disability coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Voluntary benefits and supplemental insurance options Paid sick time as per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do Lead and provide comprehensive care within a Level III NICU with 35 beds Manage a high-acuity neonatal population, averaging 25-29 infants daily Support 370-400 NICU admissions annually and 3,400-3,900 deliveries Deliver advanced interventions such as high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia Participate in well-baby rounding twice a month with Family Medicine residency Collaborate with a dedicated team of four Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners Engage with pediatric subspecialty support including Cardiology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and MFM Provide family-centered neonatal care within a community-oriented healthcare system Support academic and clinical leadership in a regional referral setting What You Need Required: Active Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine certification or eligibility Valid medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure Completion of fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Prior NICU experience Commitment to family-centered care and clinical excellence About the Assignment This role is based at a leading facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina, renowned for its excellent neonatal and pediatric services.
