Project Accountant

Responsibilities Monthly upkeep of General Ledger & corresponding work papers Directing daily upkeep and review of cash accounts Directing daily upkeep and maintenance of customer deposits Providing year end work paper assistance Maintain work papers quarterly Project cash flow update Participate in the Budget and Forecast process and completion Track refundable bonds Assist with distributions Cost of Sale journal entries Weekly Sales and Reservation reports, Monthly Gross Profit Reports Maintain Fixed Assets Forecasting Monthly General Ledger and Work Papers General journal/recurring journal entries - generating and inputting G/L post modules and running EOM Monthly interest and notes payable maintenance Updating work papers based on most current G/L activity Running and distribution of financial statements Maintenance of financial statements presentation Preparing work papers as necessary for the year end completion by outside accountants Cash Accounts Direct daily updating of checking account activity for current balances Bank Reconciliations Customer Deposits Track EMDs sent to the title company Refundable Bond Tracking Track certificate of occupancies, closings, GL accounts for bonds Track progress of work to be completed for various bonds Request bond refunds from municipalities Assist with distributions, investor distribution/K1 letters Project cash flow update assistance Participate in Budget and Forecast process and completion.
