Automation and Controls Technician A growing engineering organization is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician with a broad technical background, including PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, robotics integration, and industrial hardware selection and interfacing. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of experience and a diverse skill set, supporting multiple project teams across a range of automation and controls applications. Responsibilities Develop PLC and HMI/SCADA programs using industry-standard programming languages to control machinery and industrial processes Establish communication between devices and systems Interface with sensors and actuators Interface with both industrial and collaborative robotic systems Utilize communication protocols and buses such as CAN, IO-Link, DH+, and EtherNet/IP Design and implement control strategies for hydraulic systems Design and implement control strategies for mechanical systems Apply control theory principles including PID tuning and stability analysis Work with a wide variety of feedback devices Experience with multiple controls hardware platforms Identify and implement suitable replacements for obsolete hardware Software & Design Tools (Plus) AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN SolidWorks General Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Broad interests and skill set with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Willingness and ability to provide onsite technical support Familiarity with applicable codes and compliance requirements Must be a US Citizen or a green card holder #J-18808-Ljbffr
