Logistics Analyst

Crown Packaging Corp. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Chesterfield, Missouri! We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist the logistics department for Crown Packaging Corp. customers. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers. Must have strong organizational skills, MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic with great attention to detail, and will be a team player who is able to work independently. Prior experience in logistics is a plus, but not required. This position will report directly to Logistics Manager and will work in a team. Job Description: Screen, qualify, and set up new carriers Collaborate with sales support and purchasing to route orders Track shipments and partner with carriers to resolve issues Support branch locations throughout the US and Canada Receive expense PO's and enter weekly fuel surcharge into JDE Obtain truckload rates Process freight invoices Prepare BOLs and assist with contacting carrier to pick up Manage public outlook folders and spreadsheets Other misc. projects such as inactive carriers, etc. Assist Logistics Analysts with daily tasks Job Requirements: 2 years professional experience Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Possess a high level of integrity and strong work ethic Excellent oral and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
