Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Tele team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring a supportive and healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR).
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Current BLS and NIH certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Ability to handle care for diverse patient populations including heart failure, diabetes, and hypertension.
