PIPEFITTER APPRENTICE

Assist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and/or installation of equipment, supports, and pipe Proactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or Supervisors Use hand and power tools with proper certification Over the four years of the apprenticeship, learn and apply knowledge of the following: Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems Making and reading isometric drawings Reading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systems Inspecting and testing piping systems Piping industry codes Maintain a good attendance record and comply with apprenticeship program requirements Maintain a record of on-the-job training and submit to apprenticeship program as required Other duties, as assigned Follow all safety rules and regulations Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays Qualifications & Requirements Must successfully pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing High school diploma or equivalent One year of construction experience is preferred Knowledge and acceptance of good health and safety principles and practices are desired Competitive and top-market wages Health, dental, and vision insurance Career growth and development opportunities Personal Leave 401(k) plan Education tuition reimbursement Gym membership reimbursement And much more Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
