A per diem opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide essential vacation coverage at an independent compounding pharmacy. This role focuses on supervising daily operations within a high-volume mail order setting, specializing in post-cataract surgery eye drops.

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Lunch break: 1:00 PM 2:00 PM Weekends closed Per diem (PRN) position with ongoing needs

Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the work of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and handling phone inquiries Address and resolve questions or issues that arise during pharmacy operations Supervise the mail order eye drop department shipping three different formulations of post-cataract surgery drops Ensure quality standards and compliance with pharmacy regulations are maintained at all times

Qualifications: Active Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing Minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacy experience Mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory Ideal candidates include retired or semi-retired pharmacists, or recent reliable graduates seeking flexible work
