Events & Membership Director

The Colorado Mining Association is looking for a strategic, relationship-focused leader to join our team as Events & Membership Director. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in convening the companies, suppliers, technology and service providers, academic professionals, policymakers, and minerals-end-users that make up the mining and minerals community. The Events & Membership Director is responsible for coordinating CMA’s portfolio of events while also driving member engagement, sponsorships, marketing, and business development opportunities for CMA members. We’re looking for someone who is: A relationship builder who enjoys connecting people and creating opportunities A strategic thinker who can turn events into meaningful member and business value An excellent communicator and project manager Comfortable working with a wide range of professionals in industry, academia, and government Excited about the future of mining and Colorado’s role as a hub for mining, critical minerals, and related industries This is an opportunity to shape the next chapter of a 150-year old organization at a time of significant growth in the mining and minerals sector, while working across a network that connects businesses, institutions, and leaders throughout the industry.
