Job Full Description

One of our premier clients in Taunton, MA is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator for custom fabrication work. The Fabricator must have a minimum of 2 years' experience with fabricating and welding. In addition to strong welding skills the Fabricator position requires attention to detail and ability to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.


Sheet Metal Fabricator Hours : Monday thru Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm


Sheet Metal Fabricator Pay Rate : up to $30.00 per hour depending upon experience


Metal Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand and power tools
• Set-Up and operating machinery such as press brakes, shears, punches, rollers and saws
• Reading and understanding construction drawings assembly instructions including CAD drawings
• Verifying dimensions and product specifications
• Precision measuring and cutting, bending, and form various metals including steel, aluminum and stainless steel
• Deburr, grind and finish parts to meet quality requirements
• Inspecting and ensuring that quality control and safety standards are met

Metal Fabricator Requirements:

• 2 years' experience fabricating and welding both aluminum and steel
• Experience with industrial equipment such as brakes, punches, grinders, cutting torches, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, move, bend and handle materials of 50 lbs
• High school diploma or GED
