Maintenance Mechanic / ElectricalOur client, corrugated paper manufacturer, is seeking to hire several Maintenance Technicians to join their maintenance team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance, addressing any emergency/breakdowns maintenance as well as following all safety rules, policies and practices. The ideal candidate will bring previous maintenance experience to the position along with a positive attitude which will align successfully with the company's culture an environment.Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic / ElectricalLocation: Fenton MOPay Rate: $38/hour + shift differential + $1,000 sign-on bonusShift: 3:00pm-11:00pm / 11:00pm – 7:00am Monday - FridayWhat's the Job?Following all safety rules and practicesPerforming preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levelsPerforming emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operationsAccurately using measurement and test equipmentPerforming electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as neededMaintain clean and organized work area as part of completing assigned tasksAccurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperworkTroubleshooting and solving problemsMaintaining teamwork with other associates; andPerforming other duties as assigned by supervisionWhat's Needed?3+ yrs of experience in a mechanical and/or electrical maintenance position.Strong troubleshooting skills within the mechanical and electrical areas to include pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High School diploma or GED required.
