Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Cutting Technician is responsible for marking, reproducing, and assembling material kits. The role requires proficiency in Patternsmith and the Gerber Machine, akin to operating a Cricket machine but on a larger industrial scale. The technician will manage the loading of carbon fiber material, programming through a computer, and trimming excess material. Attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cloth laminating and bagging/consolidation.
• Sharpen cutting tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate cutting and grinding equipment.
• Trim excess material from workpieces to meet specifications.
• Be responsive to changing priorities and work hard to meet customer demand.
• Produce quality products with minimal waste of material.
• Participate in internal training as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in production and finishing.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to perform simple measurements.
• Understanding of written instructions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
