Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Day shift; 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available; overtime offered but not expected Job Setting: Hospital (8 Anesthesia Rooms); charting via Epic Types of Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho; required specialties include General, OB, and Pediatrics Credentialing: Estimated 40-60 days; emergency privileges (under 30 days) and temporary privileges (30-60 days) available Responsibilities Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required Certifications: ECFMG and FLEX; completion of approved residency in Anesthesia Licensure: M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine; currently licensed as a Physician; candidates needing to obtain state license will be considered Other: Must be able to supervise CRNAs About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
